Throw your passport away. If you are destined, you still will fly abroad – Part 2!

“I think I trust your astrological capabilities now,” whispered my wife from behind when we were riding our bike on the busy roads of Chennai. I have been practicing and predicting since the year 2002, and it took my wife 4 long years to acknowledge that astrology works and that I can do decent predictions. Not her fault though, human mind needs practical examples and real life incidents to unfold in front of their own eyes before they start believing things they hate to accept. (Well I am really not sure how come so many science graduates believe in the presence of electrons in spite of having no chance of getting to see them with their own naked eyes).

Your brother will go abroad, your 29 year old friend will get married in the month of June 2005, and also your brother will get marred in the same month - were few predictions that had already come true in my wife’s case. These predictions were not sufficient enough to impress her or to bring those kind words on to her mouth - she just uttered on the bike.

My sister had to join her husband in Belgium at the earliest. She got all her papers ready, and had submitted them perfectly. In ideal conditions the papers take a week’s time to get processed, and within a week the Visa comes on hand. Given this situation, my sister had already decided to leave the country in the 3rd week of January 2006. She had completed all her pending works – like packing, giving out unnecessary things, and informing the house owner about the vacating part. She also paved a visit to our native (Tiruppur) to meet our relatives and say an adieu, as she will be back only after a year or so. My mom wanted to see her off from the airport hence she accompanied us to Chennai.

It was in the month of October 2005, I had told my sister that she will be leaving India only in the month of February 2006, and not before that. She had this sudden interest in Satya Sai Baba around November 2005, and I told her that we will also be visiting Sai Baba in the month of February 2006, and you won’t be leaving the country before taking Sai Baba’s darshan. She is not the person who doesn’t accept or agree what I say, but then she continued putting her effort so that she can leave the country by January 2006 itself.

My mom, who generally is not happy with my long beard, long hair, white waisty, barefooted legs and my new career as an astrologer asked me - when do you think your sister will be leaving to Belgium. I stuck to what I said – I don’t see any chance of her going in the month of January 2006, she will go only in the month of February 2006. She wanted to double check, because her visit to Chennai would be waste of time if my sister wasn’t flying in the January 2006.

Looking at the pace at which the Visa documents were sent across, all in our family including my wife were 100 per cent sure that my sister will fly off in the month of January itself, and I kept smiling.

January 2006 was already coming to an end, and anxiety was creeping in. My sister called up the Visa office to enquire about the developments, and the office person replied that – one of the documents was not correct, and they needed another instead of that. So astrologically January was ruled out. The new document is ready as of today, and once my sister submits that- Visa should be ready in a week’s time.

Meanwhile my sister has booked our tickets to Bangalore to pave a visit to Satya Sai Baba. We are leaving by tomorrow evening’s train!

Om Sai Ram!
