3N/4D in Phuket, Thailand, 5-star property, complementary breakfast, free pick up from the airport – Rs 7995. The deal sounds good of course. The condition was – only for married couples, and you need to attend some shitty 1-hour presentation they will give at the property to sell their resort concept – similar to Club Mahindra or Sterling resort. We paid, and booked for the holiday.
There was another condition – you need to confirm the travel dates within 20 days, that which we religiously did. We called and confirmed that we shall travel on October, 23rd. And their fucking game started since August – ‘have you booked the tickets yet? Because we need to arrange for the airport pick up.” Holy motherfucking assholes! Your fucking job is to send a car on 23rd October to the Phuket airport and if you really want to confirm – a week’s time would suffice. Why the fuck do you need 2 months time range to confirm a airport pick up? Are you motherfucking assholes going to assemble a car to pick me up?
August, September 2024 – they kept calling to see whether we have booked the flight tickets. How the fuck does it matter to you? I might fucking walk to Thailand, and let you know on 22nd that I don’t need a pick up from the airport. I paid for the fucking hotel, and your job is to fucking provide me 4 days and 3 nights stay at the resort in Phuket.
Today they called again, my wife told them if you cannot send a car for free pick up forget it, we shall come on our own – but we will be there on 23rd for sure. I am not sure if that retard on the phone understood what my wife said, and we got a message saying – if we don’t provide the flight tickets before 12 noon tomorrow – our booking will be cancelled – and today is September 27th. And mind you it was never part of the terms and conditions that we need to provide air tickets 2 months prior to the trip.
No fucker on the planet can keep a gun on my temple and tell me when I should book the tickets, if I am not there on 23rd October- you can cancel my booking. Well, 8k gone down the drains, and at 50 I fucking have no energy to file a case or take legal action. I shall make that 8 grand in no time but then I shall curse those bastards forever – die motherfuckers!
