Recently, Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi faced backlash for a comment he made about his son, actor Ram Charan Tej. Chiranjeevi expressed his desire for Ram Charan, who has a daughter, to have a son next—remarking that a male child is needed to carry on the family legacy. His statement sparked criticism, with many accusing him of sexism.
From the perspective of Hinduism and Vedic Astrology, only a male child can continue the lineage, not a female child. (For now, I’ll leave Christianity and Islam out of the discussion.)
There are deep astrological reasons behind this belief, but revealing them would mean disclosing certain esoteric truths—something I’d rather not do.
So, people are left with only two choices: accept this truth and die or continue living in denial.
