When humans go up the ladder, there are signs.
When humans go down the ladder, there are signs.
Never ignore the signs.
Success doesn’t arrive unannounced. Nor does downfall. The universe speaks in subtle languages — patterns, behaviors, energy shifts, sudden silences, or unexpected applause. Every rise and every fall is preceded by signs that those with awareness can sense.
When someone is rising, you’ll notice clarity in their eyes, confidence in their stride, a calm in their voice. There is purpose in their speech and discipline in their day. People may start gathering around them — not just out of flattery, but out of genuine magnetism. They begin to attract responsibility, influence, and often envy.
And when someone is falling, the signs are just as vivid. Restlessness, unpredictability, a need to over-explain. Bridges start burning, sometimes slowly, sometimes overnight. The light in the eyes dims, and often, the ego rises — trying to cover up the internal cracks with external noise.
Yet the world is trained to respond only when the consequences become public. We mock success as luck and dismiss decline as fate. But both are gradual. Both speak beforehand. And both can be navigated better — if only we learn to pay attention.
So whether it’s in your own life or in the life of those around you — watch for the signs. They always come. They whisper before they scream. And those who listen early can either prepare for the climb — or soften the landing.
