This is yet another instance of a recurring situation in my life. An acquaintance, who has known me since 2011 and has never consulted me for astrology, approached me during a community event.
“Hello Kennedi, how are you?” he greeted me.
“I’m doing great, what about you?” I responded.
“I don’t see you around these days?” he commented.
“Yeah, I rarely come down,” I replied.
“So, are you still an astrologer?” he inquired.
“Yes, of course going strong for the last 20 years,” I affirmed.
I’ve encountered this question from many people throughout my career. Sometimes, I feel like they’re waiting for me to fail as an astrologer and switch to crypto trading instead.
To those with the same question in the future, here’s my final answer: “I shall go to my grave as a Vedic Astrologer.”
“So, astrology is scientific, isn’t it?” he continued.
“Not at all. There is nothing scientific about Vedic Astrology; it is an art,” I explained.
“What about the calculations?” he remarked.
“Again, there’s nothing scientific about it,” I reiterated.
There was a brief pause.
“So, do the predictions come true at all?” he asked.
Just as I was about to say, “No, they don’t. I’ve successfully cheated 30,000 clients in the last 20 years and will continue to do so by God’s grace,” my wife walked in, unfortunately ending the conversation there.
