A casteist India expects a non-racial world!

A couple of days back I had posted this image on the social media and asked my readers and followers to let me know what it actually denoted. I have close to 10,000 people checking out my posts across my social media accounts –

On top of that I also had a cash prize of Rs 1000 (12 USDs) in case if someone provides me the right answer. And as expected none could get the answer right, and there are many reasons for the same.

Most of my readers and followers either lived or live in Indian cities and/or are NRIs (Non-resident Indians). I cannot blame foreigners for not getting the answer right – because they have no clue about how the real India functions. All that they know about India is through the media that depicts India as a peace loving spiritual country!! And even when they visit India – they come to New Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, and fly back with fond memories.

On the other hand the elite educated Indians themselves prefer to live in a state of denial when it comes to anything negative about India. All that they want to believe is that India will be the 3rd largest economy in the world (God fucking knows what that exactly means) and could probably become a ‘super power’ in the near future (that might never come).

Now is the time for the revelation. Statistics say – more than two-thirds of India’s population, or 833 million people, reside in rural areas. Rural-urban distribution is 68.8% and 31.2% respectively. So majority of Indians still live in villages, and they have their own norms they adhere to even in the 21st Century.

A – is a crematorium, where only Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes are cremated after their deaths.

B – is a crematorium, where only Backward Castes and Most Backward Castes are cremated after their deaths.

C – is a crematorium, under renovation, where only Forward Castes such as Iyers and Iyengars are cremated after their deaths.

All the three crematoriums lie on the same road and are just 800-900 meters away from each other. And mind you – you can never exchange places after death – meaning it is impossible that C will allow people belonging to B to be cremated in their place, and B will never allow A to be cremated in their place. And I didn’t take pictures in any ‘remote’ village unreachable by humans, this village is just 70 kms from a major Indian city.
